That time of year again...
The time of year where it's cooling down slightly, but still too hot most days to want to be cooking a lot, but we still need to DO something with all this food we've grown. So we load up our stoves with boiling hot liquids, and disperse steam through out the entire house and wonder why we ever thought planting thirty tomato plants and six grape vines was a good idea....

Those are beautiful grapes, and so many! It didn't look like that much when I saw them on Labor Day. The tomatoes, onions, and eggplants are lovely, too. At least it doesn't look like you are as inundated with tomatoes this week!
What a beautiful harvest, Sara! Sorry its so much work but it is lovely. Wish I was there to eat some of it! Also, I am glad you posted photos of the family. I was feeling like it had been forever since we have seen you all. <3
